Our raw materials
GOLD PLATED
Our gold-plated jewelry complies with French standards and is guaranteed for 1 year against plating defects.
Our plating is made on a lead-free, nickel-free and cadmium-free brass base, making it hypoallergenic!
For a piece of jewelry to be “gold-plated”, it must have a gold thickness of at least 3 microns. At Fadade, we set ourselves a minimum deposit threshold higher than that required by the French standard.
To optimize the durability of our jewelry over time, our plating is done exclusively in 18-carat gold baths, with a 24-carat finish to make it even more sparkling.
100% of the gold used in our production comes from recycling to limit our impact on natural resources!
SILVER 925 RHODIUM PLATED
Our silver jewelry is made from 925 silver.
To guarantee impeccable quality, we impose a minimum fine silver content above the threshold required by French legislation.
Our silver jewelry is coated with a layer of rhodium, a precious metal in the same family as platinum, which protects it from natural oxidation. This rhodium coating also gives silver a lighter, brighter appearance, bringing it closer to the color of white gold.
Over 80% of the silver used in our production comes from recycling, to limit our impact on natural resources!
ZIRCON
Zircon is a fine natural stone. It is one of the closest lookalike with diamond. It adds sparkle and light to any jewelry piece.
NATURAL STONES
We try to work with natural stones wherever possible. Stones give a much more raw and unique look to each piece. In fact, natural stones will never have exactly the same appearance or colour, making each piece unique, like you!
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Our jewelry is water-resistant, even to ocean water!
If you expose them to salt water, remember to rinse them to make them last even longer!
We advise you to remove your jewelry at night to avoid continuous contact with the skin and make it last even longer. Typically, if you keep your rings on all day and regularly wash your hands with them, water will accumulate underneath. Removing them at night will allow the material to dry out, and your fingers too! Also, since blood circulation is poorer at night, we strongly advise you to remove your rings for a good night's sleep! Ever felt that your fingers were swollen in the morning? Yup, that’s why!
